About UK Doctors Aesthetics

Who are UK Doctors Aesthetics?

My name is Dr Mo Zafar. I am the founder & CEO of “UK Doctors Aesthetics”. I am a healthcare professional with over 20+ years experience in hospital & primary care. I worked as a GP for over 15 years in the NHS and before that I worked in various specialties in secondary care in Ireland.

Discovering Aesthetics

I was first introduced to Aesthetics when I did a Foundation Course in Aesthetics back in 2015. Over the last several years I have moved away from General Practice and am a full time Medical Aesthetician with a keen interest in Cosmetic Dermatology. My primary responsibilities are helping my clients to the best of my abilities to achieve realistic goals in aesthetics and within reason to facilitate this through my skills set, professional experience and knowledge. I would like to think that I can enhance the quality of life of my patients, reduce their stress or difficulties in some way , help them gain confidence, gain an opportunity to do something new. For aesthetically aware men and women who are looking for a confident aesthetician, I am a skilled practitioner that will make you feel special and give you an individual, personalised experience.

Qualifications

I completed my membership from the Royal College of General Practitioners, London.  I  successfully completed a Specialist Diploma in Dermatology from the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and also completed a VTCT (ITEC) Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Treatments from Harley Academy, London. These qualifications have allowed me to confidently know my niche in this market . With my background knowledge in General Practice and Aesthetics my passion is reputation, discretion, individuality and providing a holistic treatment. My values are integrity, quality, efficiency and expertise.

What I do in my spare time

I was on the Board of Governors for Malden Manor Primary School, New Malden, Surrey. This role had allowed me to use my skills and expertise as a parent and a GP to be involved in various projects for the School, I was on the various subcommittees and met on a regular basis to give advice and make important decisions for the School. I participate in a number of charities and fund raising events, involving marathon walks and cycling. My endeavours have supported Great Ormond Street Hospital Appeal, Save the Children, Roy Castle Cancer Appeal, Darjeeling Children’s Trust and Humanity First.

Personal time

I am also a keen sportsman, having represented my University at football and cricket for three consecutive years and was the Football Captain in the Final year of my Medical School. I like socializing, keeping fit and spending time riding my Royal Enfield 350 Classic weather permitted in my spare time .
